A Million Thanks ♥ 8:20 AM

As a part of my internship focus group class today our professor has told us to write a thank you note to one person who has made this summer possible - a boss or a family member, or even a friend. For me, there really isn't just one person that has made it possible - a lot of the people in my life have helped out, whether it be financial or emotional support it really is true that I couldn't have done it without you. So I decided to make a thank you blog instead.

This summer has been an absolutely amazing time - and not just because I've been frolicking about Europe for three months but because of everything that I've learned and gotten experience while over here. I've made some new lifelong friends and learned completely invaluable lessons about the rest of the world. I feel so privileged to be able to have had this opportunity and I know that I will be benefiting from it for years to come.

I know that I have thanked many of you who helped contribute to the "Shandi Goes to London" fund once already, but this is something that should receive many thanks. Thank you all so much, you've helped to make this as great of an experience as it has been by enabling me to visit the many tourist attractions, and beautiful places surrounding London.

I also have to thank everyone that has offered me emotional support. It has at times been a really difficult experience, from trying to get all of my applications for a visa and everything else in on time, to simply dealing with being across an ocean from everyone I love. A part of this section must be a shout out to my flatmates, who have been an absolutely invaluable asset to me because without them, I would surely have been the loneliest person in London.

And of course, a special thank you section for the team of people that got me my passport in May when I left it in Missouri. Literally, this trip would not have been possible without you.

Much love and many, many, thanks.
-Shandi

The End.
